Entry level experience in the etching process is required to work alongside this group of enthusiastic printmakers.
This class is untutored and extremely relaxed. All mediums of art are created in Studio one and all levels of ability are welcome. Come along to paint, draw or create alongside other friendly creative minds.
Our after school children’s classes are developed for certain age groups. Art and creativity are fostered by exploring a range of art mediums eg. drawing, painting, soft pastels, charcoal drawings, collage, clay, watercolour and much more. Children will learn foundation skills and techniques, for them to continue to build on as they advance in art.
In this course there are usually 4 modules which take 2 weeks each per term, but sometimes if we get over interested or excited they last longer. Using pigment liners and watercolour children will create detailed mandalas. After morning tea children will use Oil Pastel & Dye where they can create fabulous vibrant resist based artworks.
This morning we will use a variety of equipment and objects to create striking, layered, abstract art
