Are you a creative teen who wants to learn new art techniques? Maybe you’re a high school student who’s currently completing art in NCEA? Maybe you’re not, but want to stay creative and keep improving your art skills? This class if for you!

This Term 4 art class is tutored by Olivia Connolly, a Contemporary Art student in her final year of study and aspiring Secondary School Educator. She completed Painting and Sculpture folio’s in NCEA- both making it into the Top Art exhibition that tours Aotearoa. Olivia is also a 2x National Youth Art Award finalists and winner of the 2024 Sculpture category.

With advanced experience in painting, sculpture, drawing and printmaking in both realism and contemporary styles, Olivia aims to teach students new skills to help their creativity and uniqueness thrive, while improving their current techniques. Students will also have opportunities to bring in the art they are working on outside of this WSA class.
