Silk screen printing workshop

Have you ever wanted to try silk screen printing at home but lacked the technical photo-sensitive equipment to accomplish it?

This class is tutored by Joslyn Hobbis who has just completed her Masters at Wintec, Hamilton. With advanced experience in painting, sculpture, drawing and printmaking in abstract and contemporary styles, Joslyn aims to teach adults or teenage students the process of hand-cut stencil screen printing, using water-based inks.  The class covers design, translation to hand-cut stencil, through to setting up and silkscreen printing without photo-sensitive emulsion and development equipment. 

This is a fun class which can be messy, so dress appropriately.
