Join Marcia for a technique packed silver metal clay workshop to create a pendant for yourself or as a unique Christmas gift. Working with silver metal clay Marcia will take you through the steps to create a beautiful silver pendant with layers and an inset gem stone.
No prior experience with silver metal clay is needed to take the workshop. If you already have some experience with metal clay you’re welcome to use the workshop designed pendant or to design your own. All tools and supplies will be provided for you along with 20 grams of Fine Silver metal clay. Marcia will kiln fire and polish the completed pendants in her studio after the workshop and they will be available for pickup or courier posted to you after one week.
Marcia Colquhoun’s career as an artist practicing in the visual arts spans 5 decades with the last 19 years focused on creating art jewel lery with precious metal clay. Marcia has teaching certifications in precious metal clay techniques from Art Clay World and PMC Connections and has been able to study with some truly gifted metal clay artists in the field. Her work can be found in the Artspost Gallery Shop in Hamilton and the Heritage Gallery in Cambridge.
