I began painting quite recently, joining Paulette Bruns’ beginner watercolour class immediately after my retirement. I was stunned to produce something tolerable on day 1! I have greatly enjoyed having an indoor activity for days too wet to garden, and attempting to convey the delights of place and environment. I have nothing profound to share through what I put on paper, simply the pleasure of the painting process.
