Wednesday Evening Exciting Etching – Untutored – Term 1

Experience in the etching process is required to work alongside this group of enthusiastic printmakers. All classes for 18+ unless arranged through the office  and the tutor first.

Some tools/equipment that is handy to bring along are:

Pencils

Ball point pens

Paper or note book to write notes

Some simple images to use for an initial etching project

An apron or old shirt

A few fine paint brushes 00 , 1, 2, 4 and a wide one

A couple of old toothbrushes for cleaning shellac off plates

Other materials and tools are provided

This list is a basic starter kit. Students add to it as they go.

8 weeks.

Each class requires a minimum number of enrolments to start. We will advise if this is not achieved and we have to cancel the class before the term starts. Once the class starts there can be no refunds unless we have to cancel the class due to unforeseen circumstances.
