Firstly, we need to thank our incredible sponsors for these Award Prizes. The 2023 NZPPA exhibition will run from 15 April to 23 April, 2023 and is free to the public.

We received 417 entries into this award and we want to say thank you to all the artists for their skill and dedication in getting their work in on time for judging.
Our judges contended with a record number of entries this year, making their finalist selection a tightly managed task. 60 finalists have been chosen to exhibit at the Verandah, Hamilton Lake. Opening night is April 14 @ 5.30pm. This is a free entry with canapes and your first drink free.
There will be Judge’s talks from 10.30am on Saturday, April 15 at the venue. This is a free event. Come and hear from the Judges themselves about their thoughts on the art works exhibited and why they chose the award winners.
This is the Waikato Society of Arts main fundraiser of the year, as a not for profit organisation, so please come along and support the artists and our Society by purchasing from this exhibition of New Zealand Painters and Printmakers.
