Learn to use Silver Precious Metal Clay to create a gorgeous pair of silver earrings for yourself or as a gift. Silver metal clay is a recently invented form of real silver that can be used to create jewellery even if you have no previous experience with jewellery making.  In this workshop we will learn to construct the pictured earrings learning these basic techniques: preparing and rolling out the silver from the package; texturing the silver; cutting out stencils in the silver; layering two pieces of silver together;  drilling ear wire holes; drying, sanding and refining the finished unfired earrings.  The final step necessary to finish your earrings will be to fire them in a kiln at 800° C. Pieces will be fired in my studio afterwards, polished, and be ready for you to either pick up or have couriered to you within two weeks.
