In this class, participants explore painting with artist-grade acrylic paints. We start with brush exercises and discover the performance of different grades of acrylics and their interaction with a range of brushes and papers.

Abstract playtime helps to overcome the ‘fear of the blank page’. We then move on to simple objects, still life arrangements and more complex subjects.

Materials will be supplied for the first lesson; the expected material costs are between $120-$150 for the first term. These materials will last for most of the year.
