Waiprint 2023 Exhibition
WAIPRINT, which has been running for over 25 years, is the annual opportunity for WSA printmakers to strut their stuff.
Opening Event: Friday, 22 September, 5.30. All Welcome.
Exhibition Dates: 23 September – 15 October at blue gallery 3 Anzac Parade, Hamilton Central, Hamilton (opposite Hamilton Central Police Station)
Closing: Sunday, 15 October, 1.30-3.00
Workshops: Saturday, 23 September, and Saturday, 7 October
We’re firming up details for the two workshops. The first is with guest artist Marty Vreede. He’ll teach a relief collagraph technique that gives quick, satisfying results that can stand alone and can also be incorporated into your other print practices. The second, two weeks later, is with Graham Judd of Inkiana Press. He’ll bring his press down from Auckland for an introduction to letterpress.
