Maree Glass

Maree was born and grew up in Dunedin, and moved to the Waikato in the 1970s. She became a WSA member in the nineties, enrolling in various contemporary classes, workshops and summer schools. She graduated from Wintec in 2005 with a Bachelor of Media Arts and was involved running contemporary art spaces Platform01 and Gallery East in Hamilton from 2004 through 2007. Maree has begun work on a series of paintings related to childhood memories and the popular childrens’ books of the sixties.
