Saturday Drawing and Painting 5-9 years – Term 2

Each class requires a minimum number of enrolments to start. We will advise if this is not achieved and we have to cancel the class before the term starts.  Once the class starts there can be no refunds unless we have to cancel the class due to unforeseen circumstances.

In this class children will cover a range of mediums and techniques. During the term we will learn how to hold a pencil and how to take care of your tools. We will explore drawing techniques, basic colour theory including the colour circle and colour mixing, warm and cool colours and blending colours. We will draw, explore mixed media artworks, dye and salt, make creative portraits and construct with clay. Throughout the term we will discuss famous artists and create art inspired by their masterpieces.
