Friday Mixed Media Collage – Term 2

Each class requires a minimum number of enrolments to start. We will advise if this is not achieved and we have to cancel the class before the term starts.  Once the class starts there can be no refunds unless we have to cancel the class due to unforeseen circumstances.

Looking at the basics of Mixed Media Collage and incorporate recycled art and other materials to create new artworks.

We’ll experiment and create artworks that cover:

– Collage types – Blended Collage; Grid Table Collage; Bordered Collage; Photo Effects/Mosaic Collage; Trendy Shape Collage

And include

– decoupage

– composition, design

– colour theory

– pattern and texture

– assemblage

– found art

– wet and dry media

– fabric

With an aim to use existing materials, reuse/repurpose artwork, incorporate ‘treasures’ into artworks (2D or 3D) etc

All levels welcome, experiment and learn and/or extend – let’s create. Bring along any materials you may like to add in.
